Privacy Policy
Aside from a valid e-mail address for user forums, the Post-Exchange does not
collect personal information about visitors to our Web site unless you choose
to provide that information to us. The Freedom Project does not sell, exchange
or release your personal information to parties outside the Freedom Project
without your consent. Once we obtain your consent, we consider it valid until
revoked by you.

This website and all materials on it are the property of McCormick Freedom
Project unless otherwise noted. This agreement gives you no ownership rights
to any materials on this site.
- Copyright Laws
This site and all materials on it are protected under United States copyright
laws, which give creators of original works of authorship the exclusive right
to use their works for a limited period of time. With certain exceptions,
copyrighted materials may not be used or copied without the permission of
the copyright holder. This agreement describes the uses which you are permitted
to make of the materials on this site.
- License to Use
You are licensed by the McCormick Freedom Project to use materials on this
site for non-commercial educational purposes only. You may copy these materials
for classroom use, so long as the copies contain all copyright and trademark
notices. This license is not exclusive to you, and you may not transfer it.
The McCormick Freedom Project is offering content on the Post-Exchange for
re-publication free of charge with the Freedom Project’s permission and credits.

Foundation and the Freedom Project.
User forums and content policy
The McCormick Freedom Project welcomes active, informed and engaged dialogue on
the Post-Exchange Web site. By submitting comments, photos, or other content to
the site you agree to the following conditions:
- Play nice. Keep in mind that the Post-Exchange may also be used as a
teaching tool in classrooms, so please be respectful in the lively debate.
Please keep the dialogue on discussion forums focused on the issues. Debate,
but don’t personally attack other forum members.
- Do not submit any material that infringes on copyright, trademarks, or
other intellectual property rights without permission from the owner of that
material. U.S. Copyright laws allow users to quote short excerpts from
articles or other works, particularly for scholarly or review purposes.

- Material that is pornographic, obscene, libelous, defamatory or purely
commercial in nature will be removed.
- Comments that directly seek to incite violent or illegal acts shall be
removed. Threats of physical harm directed at another user or entity shall
be removed, and could be referred to law enforcement authorities at the
discretion of the McCormick Freedom Project.
- Do not misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.
- The McCormick Freedom Project Post-Exchange does not endorse any user
submitted content and cannot vouch for the reliability and accuracy of
information or photos that appear in user-generated forums.
- Responsibility for user content rests with the user alone. The McCormick
Freedom Project Post-Exchange, McCormick Foundation and its affiliates are
indemnified against any losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including
attorneys’ fees as a result of any claims brought by a third party relating
to content posted by a user.
- Post-Exchange writers may include links to individuals or entities within
their news articles or commentaries. These links are not meant to be an
endorsement of those individuals or entities by the McCormick Freedom Project,
and are simply to provide information to readers. The McCormick Freedom Project

- The Post-Exchange reserves the right to suspend or terminate a user’s access
to this site, if the user’s conduct fails to meet any of the guidelines in this
